P/S PUMP QUESTION

Hi Folks

Can anyone advise if Federal and Chrysler pumps are one in the same? I see that Saginaw are a totally different shape.

What do you consider a "Chrysler" pump? There were 3 main suppliers.....TRW, Federal, and Saginaw. What year and model are you working with?

When I look up parts, it says "with Chrysler pump" "with Saginaw pump" and/or "with Federal pump". I've never seen mention of TRW. Chrysler pumps are with the round body and neck and Saginaw are the oval......At least that's what I've seen. Hence, the confusion......Mine looks like the Federal with the small notch. I assume that the kits for the Federal and TRW would be the same as they appear to be lumped together as "Chrysler".
