P4120094 Jeg's has had me back ordered for a while. They're out of stock in a few other places, too.

Is the Mr. Gasket 1121G a good alternative? Best I can tell, they're both .028" compressed?

I can use a thicker gasket, but would like the extra compression.

I have used the Mr. Gasket pieces for years with no issues, but the surfaces must be clean. And I mean clean.
Also be aware that they are sold as singles, so you need to order two.

I used them on my 273. They worked great.

Were the P4120094 the red colored ones. I bought a couple pair many years ago and have them stuck away. Have to see if I can find them.

I believe someone makes the old embossed steel shim gaskets for the big block but none for the small block. No one makes them for small block. We are talking about the OP's 360 and not 273 though.

The bore is large enough for a 360.

I went with the 1121G. Found it on eBay, free shipping. I ordered 2, the P4120094 comes as a pair. I think a couple dollars cheaper than the MP, it was similar, after tax.

Now, I guess I have to put the shortblock together. :thankyou:
