Thin head gaskets?

The last 318 head gaskets I bought ( haven't used yet) are marine ones. I have a couple of sets, one set definitely going into my 78 fury when I do the top end swap (don't want to hear it, as far as heads// I'm using what I have in a cruiser that will never see a dragstrip// you can probably guess what they are).
The other set I hope I can use on the 360 mag that I'm building for my tow rig

.28 head gasket would be over a 1/4 inch!
You'd have about 5.75 to one compression with these!

I fuged that one up with Smith Brothers. Cost me $200

I’ve been using the Mr Gasket head gaskets in my 440s since my supply of OEM steel head gaskets ran out. One of the 440s is 12.5 - 1 cr with iron heads and 650 hp, in thirty five years I’ve never had an issue with head gaskets…
