p7 ebay heads

I was looking at these, and saw how close the intake seat is to the exhaust. Do these crack easily?
$2500 ain't chump change, any heads up is appreciated...

What block will you be running? I believe these fit the R5 block only. Don't quote me on that though.

They don't crack, no. They also have berylium seats - only a speacialized shop has the tooling and equiment to cut them (it's poisonous to machine - you need a respirator setup...)

I thought they looked pretty wild with the staggered intake and exhaust rocker setup.
Wanted to see what their track record is like, and they're not THAT much more than a prepped set of Eddies

These were used in Dodge's NASCAR engines up until the recent switch to "spec" engines I believe, here's another thread about them:

Thanks for the input guys,
I was thinking of these for a 273, but after looking at that link, a head that flows 414 cfm should be good for... I dunnoh.... 18000rpm on a 273
I know it doesn't fit now
Might as well get the aluminum block to go with it
