my painter went to get the paint for my 1970 duster 340 today & was told the code EK2
( go mango ) other wise known as orange had metallic in the paint.
does any one out there have any experience with this ?
the car had been repainted white then red over its life but under the carpet & the windshield gaskit ect. where stock paint still existed no metallic is evident in the factory orange paint.
I really want the correct paint on the car .
Thanks for any help.

I'm 99% sure ek2 go mango/ vitamin c is a metallic paint if I recall

Hope this helps

My car is painted VitaminC (at that time in 1996 I didn't know Go Mango was the Dodge equivalent). There is no metallic in it at all, but its not original. I would think like the other paint names, they would have called it Go Mango Metallic if it was metallic.

Yes, the original Go Mango/Vitamin C has metallic in it. It is a super fine aluminum metallic IIRC. That being said, it is so super fine that 99% of people do not even realize it is there. It is actually one of the easier metallics to paint because the metallic is so fine it is virtually impossible to tiger stripe :)
