i have a 65 valiant and i want to paint it to tone(burdangy metilac and silver) does it matter which color goes at the top or which one goes at the bottom, i have been told to put the light color at the bottom to hide minor defects?:clock:

or have a pic of your car photoshopped with the colors you want put on so you can see if you like it.But of course,the light color always goes on first,then the dark color second.I personally like the light colors on top,because they are cooler.If your bothering having the car painted,or painting it yourself,have the bodywork done right so you dont feel bad later on.

Totally a personal perference on top or bottom......light colors will be more forgiving for shady bodywork and potentially will look better longer.
