Paint help

I or a friend put "Scotts" liquid gold on the paint on a truck. It's now all sticky. Does anyone have any idea how to get it off the paint without ruining it?

I google it,wood soap?Scalding hot water,with a large dose of Simple Green to start.

Kim, try WD40 buddy. Won't harm the base paint.

If I mentioned girlfriend I might get in trouble here. LOL

This might of happened to her 1977 Ford 3/4 ton High Boy. I however don't think that will EVER happen again. ;^ )
