I have a couple of 74 Duster tail light bezels that are in near mint condition, but the black trim paint has faded and gone in some places. What steps and products do you use to bring them back to new condition? And where would I find the products.

Thanks
Gary

This is what i've done before and it works well for me.
Clean and scrub the bezels with oven cleaner and an old toothbrush then rinse well with water. (use gloves, this stuff is nasty)
Scuff the area you want to paint, mask it off and then spray with a semi gloss black spray bomb of your choice. Unmask and then you're done.
I hope this helps.
Tom.

When masking, it may be advantageous to mask over the area you want to paint then cut out the area with a sharp exacto knife. This really helps when the area to be painted is a curve. Mine came out pretty decent and had a nice crisp line exactly where I wanted it.
