Painting Parts

Just ordered a new steering box and power steering pump.
I'd like to paint them before installation. Question, what should i use to clean them with?

I would spray them off with brake cleaner then wipe down.

Whatever you use to clean them, I would wipe them down with Wax and Grease Remover, just before paint. Available at Oreillys etc.
