Painting rockers and jamb panels

I know it’s not a A body but thought I’d tap my Mopar brothers for creative ideas.

Painting my 68 Charger. Does anyone have any examples of painting their rocker trim panels? Or anything creative they’ve done with this area? Just looking for inspiration. Rockers and jambs will be the same color as the car. Thought about ditching OEM panel in favor of a laser cut piece with my logo or something. Thanks in advance.

not doing chargers yet maybe never . I've got my hands full doing the early A's and mocking up some 67 -69 ones for a customer, he wants haircell ABS with a LED cutout stating 69 Swinger with that flower thingy on it. I've done painted 63-66 sills engraved (lots more work though and a bit more money due to that) the ABS LED setup is going to cost him about 2 bills since he's the first but I did need his original to "base" it off of!

Those step plates are aluminum and can be cleaned and polished by hand.

Just did my carpet step plate 2 days ago, cleaned and polished. Seal the back side with this Chrysler basecoat silver to seal off corrosion.

Have not done the rocker plate covers yet.

If your's are badly discolored you can paint them with the Chrysler Silver Basecoat, that matches the original finish well.

I like the looks of those original plates. I have bought repops for all my cars. It gives it a new fresh look when you open the door.

My 64 Polara has inners and outers so the set is spendy but I sure like the look.

It’s not that they’re badly discolored, I just don’t like the way they look. Would like to do something creative with the flat space.

Having them anodized with a complimentary color would look good.
Been a long time, wouldn't be surprised if a lot more colors are available.

When I got this car it already had a really nice recent paint job but it was the outside surfaces only.
This was the final part to be painted. Pretty straight forward.
