I have the RMS suspension in the 69 valiant now, went in great. Put the Alterktion and street lynx kit in with Willwoods all around. Motor is built and ready to go. Going to send it to the shop to get the engine compartment and under carriage painted and undercoated. Leaning towards silver as I like the way it looks with chrome and the signet stainless. Love to see other member builds before I commit to a colour.

I like "flat bastard" but I'm thinking the flat trend will fizzle soon....

I painted my dart b5 in 1989 before it became so popular.

If I it to do again I would go with Q5 bright torquise poly

Depends on the interior color these things are so square and plain IMO they need to be a light color since I painted mine myself I went with W1 white to stay away from a metallic was considering the silver which would work with blacking out your hood and if your using the black wheels pictured do not put a bumble bee stripe on it keep it plain jane as possible

there was another 1969 color, i'm going to use it. it's the first "high impact color" ... it was a test run in 1969 then in 1970 they went crazy with colors

My friend Dave's 69 in Pacific blue (Mazda) before color sanding, and my `67 in Seattle grey single stage urethane.

my first car, a 69 swinger was Q5 and back then I wanted to go B5. I still have the car, it's stripped and in primer, and now, I'm going to go back to the original turquoise when I restore it.

all good points, I'm leaning to a silver, charcoal, or metalic platinum I think. like those ones you put up dodge71demon and kmrumedy

Just keep it a light color IMO dark colors just don't look good on the body style the silver with the hood being the charcoal or platinum would look great

I really like the silver. Would go good with the black wheels. It is almost over done though.
Can't go wrong with white.
That green one is different and I like it alot but I don't think the black wheels would work well with the color.
I agree with no stripe. The black hood would depend on the color.
Those are some very nice builds shown.
I would have to go white no stripe with white hood if it were mine.

Is that life saver green?

On a b body looks good there's lots to break to color but on a little square plain valliant ????

I think I found my colour. I went to my old shop to grab some paint chips and they just finished spraying a tail gait for a Ford raptor. It's called terrain, a putty grey white. I think it will look good with chrome, I can wrap half the car with vinyl to do a two tone, wrap the chrome in dark metalic vinyl for a trendy look etc.

Available-Colors

How about Hot Pink (same as Barbie Pink as well) or Fire engine red.
Honestly whatever color floats your boat.
