It is my understanding that the '76 Duster used a foot operated park brake lever where as the 75 and earlier used the pull and twist lever.

The problem I have is with the reverse pedal box i am fitting to my duster and unfortunately i can no longer use the pull and twist. has anybody swapped to the foot operated lever? does the cable go through the same opening or is it in a different place.
the other concern i have is how close it mounts to the kick panel as i have a speaker in the kick panel.

would appreciate any assistance or pictures if someone can help
Cheers
Andrew

I found it all to be quite different, kick panel, structure behind the kick panel, cable routing under the car too. I'm not saying it can't be done. I turned away from that later model OEM stuff and toward alternate center console including center pull park brake. Good luck with yours.
