I'm having the brakes overhauled on my Barracuda. I've seen good things about the Right Stuff parking brake cable kits, problem is on the website there arent a ny photos or detail descriptions. I'm after the unequal length rear cable set up with no intermediate. Would anyone know the part number for that kit?

Couple questions Righty.
What rear end do you have? Are you needing the heavy shielded cables that plug into the backing plates ?

These are from a 73 Duster with 7.25 rear that has the big bolt pattern axles. I believe the same as 8.75
I can get measurements if that will help .

The set up is a bit wierd because these UK cars used the Valiant dash pull handle. So it has the heavy shielded cables at the rear wich are different lengths - USA passenger side long, drivers side short, no intermediate cable, the 2 rears connect direct to the equaliser on the front cable, so far new I've only seen them made by Inline Tube and perhaps Right Stuff, but they dont have any pics or description on their site. Of course Inline Tube dont ship to the UK:)

If you find what you need new from In Line, maybe find a member up north to help out with shipping. Like a middle man .

Yes at the moment I think thats probably my best bet. I'm talking to a sales guy at Right Stuff but I'm not sure that will lead anywhere. Anyway for the time being I'll just avoid parking on hills.

FWIW, Inline Tube sells OE and stainless UNEQUAL sets if the pictures help....

Getting this on was a PITA though.......

Pedal parking brake? My car has a dash pull handle, its right hand drive UK export so it has a right hand drive Valiant dash. Unfortunately Inline Tube dont ship to the UK.

No, pull handle, outboard of the column.
Interesting I came to the wrong conclusion that it was just the UK ones that didnt have a foot park brake. I stand corrected. I think I might be able to get one from Right Stuff i think they ship international.
