Anyone have one of these? The wires are P-1, and P-2 I don't on my 66 Dart. Thanks

Just curious, seen on my wiring diagram, no place on my car for it, and couldn't find the wires either...

Basically the warning lamp connects to the switch in the brake hydraulic distro block (if you have a dual system) and is in parallel with the switch activated by the emergency brake. So either switch goes to ground when activated. Power for the lamp comes from switched 12V IE "ignition run" or IGN1

The parking brake switch works just like a dome lamp......a simple single terminal switch that grounds when the lever is moved.

So the functional path is ignition switch (ignition run power)---to one side of lamp--through lamp---to parking brake switch---grounded when activated.

Does anyone have the light in a 66 Dart? As stated there is no place in the dash for it, and no wires. Thanks for your inputs...

The light goes near the handbrake on the underside of the dash, facing the floor. Its lens is designed such that it's visible to the driver.

The wires get installed along with the switch, which attaches to the handbrake bracket way up under the dash.
