Show off your parts that are your keepers.
Here are some of mine all for 65/66 Barracuda . NOS rear muffler/resonator with chrome tip. ( I have NOS muffler also ) 3 rechromed bumpers for 66. New tinted and shaded windshield. Extra back glass. 2 new red vinyl padded dash covers. Restored steering wheel and column with factory correct paint. Nice set of taillights and grilles and misc restored or almost restored parts for 65.

I'm having trouble with identifying "keepers". Are these parts that you have for a vehicle that you currently own or plan to own? Are these parts acquired that you feel are valuable but otherwise don't have any other connection to your vehicles?
I understand having some cool stuff, but as in post #2, that's a great setup that resides inside the home. Are there big plans for these parts?

I have a 65 Command 4-speed that the 65 parts I've shown go to . I also have 3 66 Forumla S cars . But any parts one is planning on keeping for any reason .

Eventually that’ll end up in my 47 Dodge unless I change my mind and go with a V8, in which case I’ll sell it

If you don't sell it, somebody else will.

In which case my wife will or she’ll get someone to haul everything to the landfill

I love this post. In my opinion none of the stuff is valuable unless it’s on a vehicle being used or being sold to someone planning on using it. Just hold up in a garage somewhere I dont get either. I would love to see that triple SU carb set up running on a slant for example, although I’d hate to be the one to have tune it.

According to the SU Guru who went through the carbs and synchronized them on a jig, they ought ti be pretty close to right on, with perhaps just minor idle adjustments.

I have one on my Harley and it’s an absolute nightmare to keep in tune.

This is squirreled away for my 66 when I get to doing the engine in it. A 2x1 Offy intake hogged out for a pair of 2-barrel Webers. I'm stealing this photo from the member that sold this to me, this is not in my car. But it will be soon enough!

Just like Dartman. My wife calls all my "parts" junk and will be disposed of promptly upon my demise. Preferably the landfill or scrap yard. That's why everything will go to either the oldest daughter (she appreciates my hobby), or a buddy.

They’re keepers until they’re not. My keepers were an NOS 69 Dart GTS grille and headlight doors in the original packaging and a mint 69 GTS tailpanel, then my brain and spinal cord decided Multiple Sclerosis was the way to go and all of my good parts went onto my car.

At one point I had several E cars and collected lots of parts for them. Then a 66 Belvedere came into my life and more parts! All the E cars are gone now and so are their parts but there's still way too much 'stuff' in my shop. Now that I'm 74 and half way worn out I don't want to deal with it all.

Must be nice. At 68 I'm well beyond half way done. Where is that emojie with 1 foot in? Cheers

Vinage 60's and 70's Mopar nascar parts.

Local guy was sales rep stocking misc bolts at hardware stores. He'd have blowout garage sales. Even sold the bins too!

NOS KB block that Bob Tarozzi had for mock up when he did an update to his original design.

Stereolith hemi hold down, oil pump and rod all designed by Bob Tarozzi.

I got a set of 4 Motor Wheel Spyders for my 68 Dart Conv GTS clone...someday.

I've had the rim casings removed so I could restore them.

Should look like this when done:
