Perfect SoCal Weekend

CAUTION - DO NOT LOOK AT THESE PICS - MAY CAUSE SOCAL ENVY!!!

Great weekend! Took a days vacation Friday and went up to the California Hot Rod Reunion at Famoso drag strip outside Bakersfield and saw some great cars and some good drag racing (see pics in my 'California Hot Rod Reunion' post); went to Fall Fling yesterday and saw a bunch of beautiful Mopars.
Then took a good old Sunday drive today with my better half today (since she put up with my stuff), had lunch at the end of the Huntington Beach pier, watched the surfers, and even snapped a pic of the best fisherman on the pier.

Looks like a great weekend Ken! I can almost smell El Torito now ...... one of the best parts of going to Huntington. Thanks for sharing the pics and bringing back some SoCal memories for me.

I had dinner at Luigi's on Main last night with the gf and her dad. Good seafood pasta!

and a little later in the year you can head up to the mountains and go skiing. Man I love SoCal.
