perfectionism can be a curse

any one know where I can find 2 nice red /blue ( valiant,early cuda), triangle logo buttons. The round ones that go in the center of the hubcap. They were notorious for cracking and the paint getting weak. Got 4 hubcaps getting professionally done ( dents out and polished).

If ya want it perfect and you can do it yourself or pay to have it done, mo' power to ya!
My problem is that I'm a PROCRASTINATING perfectionist!

oh man, I tried one hubcap myself and I had 4 hours in it and still did not like the results, gave up, plenty of other work to do on this project!

Sometimes ya just gotta pick the battles you can win. I'm wrestling with a door lock that would accept the hey just fine,
but would not turn to either lock or unlock the door. Dismantled the door, got the lock out tried 4 different penetrants
and got it to move slightly. Soaked it in acetone and used the penetrants again and it moved a little more. Back in the acetone
now and it's dinnertime. The funny thing is it makes no sense to tell folks how much time and energy I put
into a door lock. I will satisfy MYSELF, and that's just gonna have to be enough!!
