There is some erroneous info in the valve guide video.
They’re talking about installing replacement guides into some iron Pontiac 455 heads, and how that will allow them to use lighter 11/32” stem valves...... instead of the heavier 3/8” stem valves they come with.
Sounds great in theory...... but....... Pontiacs use 11/32” stem valves from the factory.

You’re just replacing the guides ‘cuz they’re worn out..
