Yea, real easy fix....jack up the dome light and drive a new truck under it.

As for new vehicles getting nailed, I was delivering new Toyotas to Hertz at the Philly airport back in the mid 90s. Customer pulls out of the lot......right in front of a loaded cement mixer.
The mixer totally flattened the nose of the Camry with 3 miles on it.
