My wife found this today going through family pics. It’s my youngest daughter and my 65 valiant. It was like 2000-2001. It was a 340, low gear 904, with 4.30 gears. It ran 12.20s when I got it. I use to drive it 1 1/2 hrs to and from the track. I got it down to 12.0s before it broke a ring gear tooth and I cut it up. She is now in the University of Buffalo and the car is still in a near by scrap yard.

I stripped it first. I still have the 340, trans, rear, exhaust, etc... it was kinda ratty.

What was the engine combination?
I never took it apart but was told it is .030 over with trw pistons, .484 MP cam, cleaned up 2.02 heads, strip dominator and 750 Holley. I remember it has half iron and half crane gold rockers, maybe 1.5 and 1.6, not sure. The car just hooked, you could barely leave rubber on the street. Super stock springs, mp snubber, and 26x10.5 MT sportsman pros.
