Hi all, trying to resize a lot of pics on my laptop. I have Windows 10 Pro.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Steve

I've used the built in editor. If you view the pic, at the top there should be something that says open pic for editing in Paint or in Something else, I use the something else one that I can't think of the name. It's not super intuitive to find or how to resize, but it's there. I can grab a few screens hots when I get home this afternoon.

Thanks, cant remember but there was a resizer that worked perfect, right click and "sml, med or lrg". I think it came with Windows XP. 1 step and done.

I'm sure there are better for download these days. I kind like a disc (as long as it comes with the KEY).
I've used a crude, cheap editor called PhotoPlus-X3 for a while....

IrfanView is a free DL. Comes with resize tool. (haven't used this)

The one in windows 10 shows the pixels, but you can change it to percentage and then type in what's ever percentage you want it to be. Hopefully someone chimes in sooner, but if not, I'll grab some screen shots later today for ya

Thanks guys, I'm trying to free up space on laptop. The previous one I used "resized" them. When it resized them it didnt do it dimensionally, it was by pixel (I believe) and was not discernable by eye.

Sorry for the delay. Here's how I do it on my work computer that has no photo software on it.

Double click the file to view the pic, then click on Edit & Create and select Edit with Paint 3D. When Paint 3D opens, click on Canvas along the top toolbar, then on the right there is an option to resize canvas. You can pick to have it show the size by percent or pixels and then type in the new size. Then go to Menu and select save/save as and save the new file.

I just use paint.

Super easy.

"Resize" is in the menu.
