Okay guys picked up this rear axle noticed that where the tubes go into the housing looks like it's been nickel welded there is this common to do

Some tubes have been known to seep gear oil because of the factory'spoor fit and finish, so yes, that's pretty common. I would make sure the tubes are straight in relation to the axle center line, though.
