thank you...i have found that i will have to take a big chunk out of one of the side bushings for each one because the offset hangers have a bend that interferes, and having some bushing part of the way around is better than none, which could allow the spring to rub the hanger

I also am not sure if i got the diameter just right....they are 1.507", and i am just not sure what they have to be. I know the aluminum ones in the catalogs claim 1.5", but is that just a ballpark figure??(give or take a few thousandths)
 
The spring eye will open up a little, .007" might be a lttle big though. While you are at the lathe you should build a tool to install them
 

tool........done........for removal and installation....don't know how well it'll work yet

I made a tool for that type of work...it worked great for the front end bushings, and i made different size attachments for it, so maybe it will work....
