I think a couple thou or maybe three.

But they watch you pretty close and you can not have it
up very much at all without a problem.

However, I won a heads Up class race in Denver about 10 years ago
at the Nationals by .0001. That is a Single Ten thousand of a second!
My car JUST made weigh right down to the pound. The racing we do
is very very competitive and close!
My friend Earl Blake was 5 Lbs. over his minimum or I
would have been on the trailer.

You come onto the Scales fairly fast and the bounce the nose
down. Then while car is bouncing = quickly remove your Helmet
and Belts (Unlatched before scales). That will make the Weight
flicker up and down a few pounds and they will generally give you the
higher reading on the scale. Only do this when you know it will be close
on a Heads Up race. Otherwise we are always at least 20 lbs. heavy and sometimes
much more than that (Often 100 to 150 Heavy) as we never like to show our cards
on the table until we need to do that.

BTW: The hood is easily adjusted by the Hood Springs and does not need to be pried on.
My son did ALL the body work and preparation on the car himself (It has won several shows) and
the pictures do not begin to do it the car Justice if you have not seen it in person.
He would break your arm if you pried on it or even opened it without permission!
