Hi All
I am working on a 64 Barracuda with a 7 1/4 diff. I need to replace the pinion seal. I have removed the old seal, and I have ordered three different ones, all of which are about 1/16" too large to fit. The inside bore is 2 1/2".
After the first seal, I thought maybe it was just sloppy aftermerket machining.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
I purchased the third seal off Ebay. It was sold as a NOS from national seal.
Do I need to track down a genuine MOPAR NOS part?
This is driving me bonkers - a ten dollar seal is holding my entire project hostage!
