Trouble Inserting Axles

Just one more way these cars can be a PITA... But when everything is together & your out on the road the troubles are a distant memory...

No need to pull stuff apart.
Remove the wheel. Put a few lug nuts on, hold a pry bar between, tap the end of the axle with your hand as you turn the pry bar.
Done.

i too have used this method with success.

instead of a pry bar i fashioned a piece of piece of bar stock with a big *** truck lug nut welded to the one end, that way it loops over the lug stud or lug nut and i can get a little more purchase on it without fear of it jumping off and smacking me square in the yam bag.
