pinion snubber alternative

was looking for an adjustable pinion snubber for my Dart, got a great price from a A body member but the shipping was double the cost of the Part. ( not the members fault) Anyway i went to the local spring shop and found a used body rubber mount and put it on the original mount it is a couple of inches from the floorboards. see the pic, what do you guys think? anybody else tried this or similar idea.

Looks like a good setup, but I don't have any experience to back that statement up, lol. I always give a thumbs up to ingenuity though.

unless you have the rear raised up the adjustable is just a body stop

I had mine adjusted all the way down and the body was sitting on it all the time. The car had new HD springs, and gas shocks. Your set up looks like you will have good body travel for street use and some help on a hard take off.

If it eliminates the wheel hop, then it's probably as good as any other pinion snubber out there.
