pitman arm nut

what size is it before i go buy a socket lol
the biggest i have is 1 1/4 and that aint it
looks like 1 5/16 or 1 3/8 by tape measure

Just checked mine on my '64 it's a 1-5/16.

I was going to buy a 1&5/16 inch socket too but all I found were chrome 12 point and 3/4 drive. I have some 6 point metric impact sockets for 1/2 drive here. My memory sux but I think it was 34 mm that I used with 3 little pieces of feeler gauge for filler shims. It worked

im doing the ps to ms switch

redfish another person told me 32 or 34mm would work ( he couldnt remember which haha )
im going to see if i can loan one from the local parts store, then go from there

Im in the process of changing ps to ms
the box didnt have an arm on it when I got it, sooo while its apart I"m putting a new pitman arm on
