Are these not sold anymore? I like 'em better than those triangle aftermarket pieces.

Got 3 or 4 of them laying around
The triangle pieces aren't aftermarket, although aftermarket does reproduce them. That early bracket was overkill considering how tight a alternator belt needs to be. That bracket could support a a/c compumper. Anyway... factory changed to the little triangles in 66 or 7.

That's a good point, the "original" edition of many vehicles had the best parts before the penny pinchers began to economize on things. I'll choose overkill every time over later editions.
