I just got a 3d printer. Going to make some customer gauge holders and misc stuff for my car.

I have SolidWorks, been doing it since 1997 so no problem for me for mechanical things. Artsy stuff I can't do well.

I’ve had a 3D printer for a while now. I bought it to print the GT badge for the hood trim on my 64 Dart GT. I’ve made many parts for my car, including tail light rings for the center of my tail lights, a reducer cupping for my defrost hose to my heater box, and many other things for my car and many other people’s cars. It’s a great hobby and you can make many, many things for around the house and workshop. I found Thingyverse on the day I got my printer and I love that site! I also found TinkerCad online and that is a beginner cad program with many tutorials that can help you learn how to design your own Things! Good luck and by all means, have FUN with it!!
