plug wires 7mm or 8mm

hey guys ready to buy some spark plug wires.I am running stock electronic ing.What do you all say 7mm or 8mm wires.geting very close to get it running again.Thankssss for your advice.Don.:cheers:
 
7mm will fit in some of the factory wire looms.
8mm wont fit in any of them.
 
68 I was thinking Accel have used the in the past befor with no troubles any brand out there that I should go with? thanks Redfish I never even thought of the looms.

..... Some brands are better than others but really...... Any performance oriented wire is more than good enough. I run MSD wires, had Accel before that and they lasted 20 years.

I saw a test on wires years ago... I think MSD and Taylor were at the upper end with Accel in the lower middle and stock replacements at the bottom (some of the stock replacements were really bad with very high resistance).

I used to know what an acceptable ohms/ft is. I am now too old to remember. :toothy10:
I have two sets of wires from parts cars, and would like to use them. What's a good number?
Hope I'm not hijacking, I know you're talking new wires here.
