I'm considering some new plug wires for my 360 magnum, i am currently running the borg warner select wires in a 7mm, they seem to be pretty descent but i was looking into other wires and this is what i have come up with, these are the wires i am considering and was hoping you guys could tell me wich ones would be the better choice.

1. Crane cams fire wire 8.5mm
2 Mallory pro sidewinder 8mm
4. Msd super conductor 8.5mm
5. Accel super stock spiral 8mm
6. Taylor spiro pro 8mm

Out of the wires listed... wich ones would you guys go with? thanks.

i have ran them all. i would go with a 8.5mm. taylor 8.5mm would be my choice but you dont list it. i have never noticed an indifference between the fire wire and msd besides price. they are all decent. i have had issues with accel wires coming apart at the boots from taking them on and off, but if you hook them up once and dont mess with them they are good as well ...IMO

Those are just basic stock replacement but if you have a hot ignition (45,000 volts or higher) then i would go to the 8.5mm like all the others mentioned. With just the basic MP ignition i don't think it will make much of a difference but taylor, MSD, moroso, and DUI live wires i've heard nothing but good things.

the firecore wires are really nice i like them the best and he will make your coil wire any length you want

I like the factory wires because each one is numbered for the cylinder, and they are silicone. I grabbed a JY set for my 273, not a Magnum but will use the after-market HEI distributor which has male posts.

thanks for all the input guys, and i never seen any 8.5mm taylor wires? i'll have to look closer on site again, i was considering the crame cams fire wire or the mallory side winders the most, my old man ran a mallory ignition with 8.5mm mallory wires on his 70 cuda with a 440-6 pak and that car ripped, nice crisp acceleration, he had always told me mallory was good stuff, but he also ran a crane cams fire ball ignition on his dodge truck with the crane cams fire wire and that thing screamed too, but he ran the crane cams on crate 360 magnum in a half ton 4x4 truck but it still ran twiuce as good as it did withg the stock ecu system.

What did you guys think of the crane cams fire wire spark plug wires?
