Casting number 4323345, these are the heads used on the factory 4 Barrel E45 police package. They are a hybrid cross between the normal 318 and 360 heads. A way to step up to the larger ports and valves without the compression loss. Perfect for the mild street/strip 318.
Heads are complete and look like they should just bolt on and go, but you may want to freshen them first.
Asking $250 SHIPPED anywhere in the US. PM me if interested. Thanks FABO!

Would be 1.88/1.60 valves with a 74cc chamber. 1985 360 only.

I'm confused, I've been trying to research these and some people say they are just your average 360 heads, some say they are not. I have a stock 318 that needs heads and if these are a good fit I'm interested but if they are just 360 heads I've been told the bigger chambers will lower my combustion ratio and make the car a dog. I just want to make sure what I'm doing makes good sense and not just throwing money away. Do you know what the chamber size is on a shock 318 vs these heads?

Offhand, I do not know the difference in chamber size, and you are right about information being difficult to come by on these heads.
What I can tell you for sure, is that these are not normal 360 heads.
I can only surmise that the unique casting number on these, and the fact that they were only used on 318 Four Barrel engines, means the factory moved something around to make them happy on the small bore block.
Unfortunately, right now I don't have any other SB heads on hand to make comparisons of the chambers, and you really can't eyeball the difference of a few CCs of depth.

According to "How To Hot Rod Small Block Mopar Engines", the 4323345 casting has a 66-72.5 CC combustion chamber. Many 360 heads have 66-72.5 CC chambers ('77 to '89).
Hope this helps........

Thanks for the replies and info. Tony I was debating if these would be better than the 920 heads I have, but the 920's appear to be closed chamber and same size valves.

Here you go, maybe this will help sell these heads.

What you highlighted there is referring to the 2.02 and later 1.88 J heads.

Sorry, The highlighting was already in the book when I got it. It's the info in the previous sentences that talks about your heads. Where it talks about the E48 high performance 4 Barrel police heads. In the second pic the correct sentence starts with, "Since 1978,".
