Poly strut bushings

I am installing Energy Suspension poly bushings on my 69 Dart struts. Do I need the large cap washers to sandwich them in?

Good luck with them. Usually the K-member hole cuts the nipple off in a couple miles. Rubber is not as stiff but usually has a metal shear sleeve in them
