This site exists through revenue generated from ads. There are hobby-related companies that spend money with this forum and are given ad space as their reward. I not only get it, but respect it. Then there are the Google pop-up ads...

Whether it is this site, or Facebook, or other sites, it ticks me off that I cannot view what I came to see because the site shoves ads in my face.

I committed to try my hardest to not even look at the ads. Even if it might be something I might be interested in, because I didn't go to a site to view ads, I refuse to even look at them. If the site won't allow me to close the ads, I leave. If I want to know about PODs, power tools, tuning university, or anything else, I'll do a search for it. Am I alone? Am I weird? Do others feel the same??
 
I'm a gold member on the A & B body sites so i don't get any ads.
But i also follow the E & C body sites.
Over there i use the FIREFOX browser, with an ad blocker.
Guess what, NO ads.
I don't know if your using a computer, or a smart phone.
I don't know a damm thing about phones, but if your using a computer, try the FIREFOX browser on your computer.
 
Joey doesn't except money order and doesn't sell t shirts, ad blocker for me it tis.
