I commented about this on my build page but wanted more opinions on this bad ass tool. Because of my inexperience, AMD and Ma Mopar's tolerence's my right front fender fit a little tight. It needed about a half inch to fit correctly. Instead of hacking, cutting, re-welding the upper radiator support, I decided to buy a new tool and just move it out. Always wanted to play with one. What else can we do with these things? Worked awesome, and the fender fits fine now.

I have one of those and love it.
The first job I did with it was to reposition some bent bumper brackets, which it handled very well.
I also used it to push a pillar back out on a car that got T boned.
You can move pretty much anything if you have a backstop to push against.

His looks exactly like the one I got from Harbor Freight.
        They work.

Great tool for experienced tree cutters that are cutting a tree leaning the wrong way, too!

I have a cheapo porta power too. Should have sprung for the 10 ton.
                    Its a very handy tool.
That and a ratcheting load binder the truckers use. They pull really hard.

I got cheapo 10 ton push 5 ton pull !! The monkey stick sounds fine , several different leverage bars would be nice.

Load binders are very good, my all time favorite was a Wyeth-Scott & Co. Red Devil come along. Also known as the More Power Puller.

I think you could make room for a V12 if you're not careful!

I too, have one of the Harbor Freight Porta-Power Tools. I actually bought it, because of a fair size dent in the left rear fender of my '07 Charger R/T, only, the way the body is built on that one, I can't see where I could put the base of the Porta-Power against, that would be stable enough, to push against. I have used them, in past years, but cars were built a lot different back then.

Thanks, I will have to give that a shot. When I was going to attempt to use it on my car, it made me back off, because I sure didn't want to add to my problem & the next thing I knew, because of other issues, time went by & I hadn't gotten back to working on that again. But now, I want to get back to it & will give your suggestion a shot, to see how it goes.

I used one to swell the fenders on a 67 belvedere for bigger tires, before we tubbed it. 2X4`S ROUNDED AND TAPERED ON THE ENDS, WORKING SLOWLY AND CONTINUALL FITTING OF THE BOARDS, WORKED PRETTY DARN GOOD .

Used to have a short ram porto-power welded on top of the rf spring/weight jack on my dirt late model back in the 60's. Mounted the pump on a down bar on the right side of the seat.... allowed the car to adjust the weight while racing.

Still have the porto- power under the bench.

Bought the big one from Harbor garbage. Broke one of the ends trying to press out 8.8 axle tubes. Returned for another. Works great otherwise
