Positive battery cable 73 dart

I need a new positive battery cable and I found one at classic industries but it says it’s for big block and 6 cylinder cars with no mention of small block cars. I wonder what's different about the 73-76 V8 cars that the 70-72 cables wont work on them?

You can buy an E-body battery cable from your local Dodge dealer. It will be a little shorter then the "correct" one but you can still make it work. It's a nice factory looking piece...not a parts store generic cable.

What I have found with wiring sold online, the pix tend to be generic. Also E body cables are more than too short on an A body. Like 8" - 9" too short IMHO

There's a lot of extra length on A-body cables IMO. Although I'm not building a stock type car, I just test fit some E-body cables and they will work for me.

E body V8 cables are about 40"- 41" long. Stock A body V8 cable is about 47"-48" long. There is a difference. E body cables are too short to fit in all the cable retainers.

I didn't say they were the same. I said it would fit. $40 vs $140...I'll use the e-body cable.
