hey guys. i am repairing the wiring harness/installing msd on my 70 swinger and i cant find my wiring diagram book. can someone tell me what color the wire is on the POS. side of the coil or post a pick of a engine compartment wiring schematic?? thanks a lot fellas!!! it a 318 a/c car btw..

Actually it should be blue

You can download a usable wire diagram from MyMopar:

http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=31

http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/1970/70DartA.JPG

http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/1970/70DartB.JPG

You can also download a complete 70 shop manual from the same place

http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/servicemanuals/1970_Plymouth_Service_Manual.zip

Only problem with that manual is you have to "play" with the page numbers

Wiring diagram index page 353

Engine bay page 364

The coil drawing, J2B goes to bottom end of ballast. Dotted T11-18GY is if you have a factory tach. This wire goes throiugh a separate added grommet through the firewall

J3-14BR (brown) also going to the bottom of the ballast notice comes from the bulkhead connector. This is the resistor bypass circuit from the ignition switch
