I was working on the 56 Studebaker with my friend Mark today. He painted his new fuel tank with a special paint. It looks amazingly like wrinkle black paint. I think it might be a suitable substitute for wrinkle black paint on valve covers. Let me know what you guys think. It is Wurth rattle can undercoating. It says it is a rubberized undercoat, but it is not sticky and rubbery like most rattle can undercoatings, it is actually more like a paint. It is very easy to spray, and this is how it looks when it dries. No more hoping the paint wrinkles.
