From "back in the day"...had to pull out the logbook/notes but I was reminded what a FUN, low dollar, low maintenance bracket car, that could've easily been street driven!

69 STOCK Dart body (3,320 with my 250#'s in the seat.)
70 6bbl shortblock, STOCK with .060 in the hole slugs
906 heads, milled to 80cc with untouched valves and ports
MP steel shim head gasket
Purpleshaft .484 hyd cam
Edelbrock (original style) Torker
Holley 750 DP
2" "McCandless/Pro-Parts" headers
OEM 11" "hemi" converter
3.91 8 3/4 with a 28" tall slick
Best of 11.92 @ 111 through the muffs
Best of 11.81 @ 114 open headers

Changed to:
Crower hyd cam (.530 lift/248 duration)
4.30's with a 30" tall slick
B&M "J" Converter (WAAAAAY too lose!)
Glass 6 bbl hood
Best of 11.50 @ 115 open headers

Changed to 850 DP (Had to give the borrowed 750 back!)
Best of 11.63 @ 116 open headers

Sealed up scoop with homemade airpan (no jet changes...didn't have any!)
Best of 11.41 @ 117 open headers (same day as the 11.63 run above)

Is it possible to get my combo into the 11's? 73 Duster 3350lbs with me in it. 3.73 rear 2500-2800 converter. Motor is a .030 over 440 about 10:1, .528 mopar cam, slightly massaged(not much at all) 906 heads, schumacher headers, M1 single plane, 800DP holley with proform body. It ran a best of 12.3 @ 109mph. I don't know I would just like to touch on the 11.99-12.0 door

Hows the chassis set up? Thats the first place I would look,it making sure there is minimal power loss in the drivetrain.

Has the frame been stiffened? Frame connecters, torque boxes etc all help reduce frame twist. Less of that means more power to the pavement.

What is the suspension setup in the rear? If it's leaf, you can get some good help in thee traction department withe caltracs.

What is your 60 ft time?

Seems like a nice combo and Im a big fan of that cam you have.It can perform very well, sometimes better than modern cams.Mopar got it right when they made it!

69 dart 431 9.02:1 compressiion, stock 906 heads decked only to clean up, valve job, torker intake, hughes 3844 hydraulic cam 238/244, 1 3/4" tti headers 3" full exhaust, 9 1/2" dynamic converter 3.73 dana. 3580 with me in it, bench seat, column shifter, steel wheels. we kept the compression low to never have a problem with pump gas. i really want to try a set of cnc ported stealth heads with the 2" headers and m1 intake i have. i tried many different carbs75ovs to 950 holley hp with annular boosters. rck850, i think oyu need a much looser converter and some good heads to bring that mother to life.

I have frame connectors, and superstock springs, /6 torsion bars and the sway bar has been backed off. My 60ft at the previous posted times was a 1.60 I think tires are a 275/60-15 BFG comp t/a drag radial.
