Is there such a thing as a different switch for power brakes. The mechanic converting my car to power discs said the old switch was to short for the new power set up.

In Ford, GM etc... the length of the switch through its mounting bracket is the adjust point. In your Chrysler the 'L' shaped switch bracket itself is adjusted via a slotted bolt hole.
Would there be a longer slot in a power brake car ? I wouldn't think so
