Power Steering Gear Box

How Difficult is it to replace a power steering box on a '72 Dart?, Have any of you guys had one to leak around the steering input?, Tips or Suggestions?

There is a shaft seal there that can be replaced. If the shaft moves lengthwise in that seal and shows wear a new seal probably wouldn't help much.

I hate to say it but it's a Mopar, it's gonna leak.

To answer your question though it's not too difficult to replace the entire steering box. Pull it from the bottom. You'll have to pull the steering arm, steering shaft assy. and disconnect both hoses (if it's power steering). After that there are 3 large bolts holding it on to the K-member. If you have a slant 6 it's really accessible but if you have a V8 it's kind of a PITA.
