I have a small power steering fluid leak on this 74 Scamp and I want to replace the seal at the top of the gear where the steering column shaft hooks up, is this seal called the input shaft seal? I do not want to order the wrong one from Rockauto.
Thanks
Bob

Correct input seal. The other is called the sector shaft seal.

Get them both and take care of 'em when you got the box out. If ones leaking, the second is bound to be next.

Reviving an old thread before posting a new one. Hoping for some help. Looking at where my leak is and the service manual, it appears the location is the oil outlet fitting? Would replacing the fitting with a repo from rockauto fix the leak?
