Inherited this project car, a 1969 Plymouth barracuda. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars but I have a lot of mechanical knowledge and I'm trying to make this car driveable. The last thing it needs is the seals replaced on the power steering gearbox because it pretty much instantly drains all the fluid when you start the engine (the car has been sitting for 20+ years). The problem is I can't get it out. My dad already had it out partially, with the steering shaft disconnected and it's unbolted. I'm on my own with this project so I'd like to know what I need to remove to get this out

Pulling the starter helps. Just make sure you disconnect the battery first.

Remove the left side 3/4 motor mount to K-frame nut and jack the left side of the engine up a little. Take the distributor cap off so you don't brake it if it hits the wiper motor.
