power steering issues

Hi everyone. Its been a while. I have a 68 dart 440 with a federal power steering pump, after driving for a few hours I loose power steering. The reservoir is full. After it cools I will get power steering again. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this.Throwing this out there. Thanks

Yup. Usually the pump is on the way out. It overheats and stops working. I've seen it before. Whether that's your problem is anyone's guess, but I have seen it.

thanks Rusty, I did purchase it from Napa in 2016 and it was a rebuild, maybe its time for another one, but it really doesn't have much mileage on it. I wonder if a cooler would help
