I have a 68 Barracuda, with a 318. I’ve never dealt with such a pain in the but power steering system. Several years ago I had a shop replace the steering box. While it was being fixed, I severely injured my back. So I did not drive the car after getting it back. Last year, I added power steering fluid and kept having to add power steering fluid. I noticed it was coming out of the cap. It looked like the cap wasn’t sealing. So I added a gasket to the cap.
Next drive, I must of blown something. The thing doesn’t hold power steering fluid.
I took it off today. Any help on figuring out what pump I have? And it looks to be leaking from the neck of the reservoir. I do not see any cracks on the pump or reservoir.
I attached some pictures. Any help is greatly appreciated.

See picture.

If you determined that its leaking from the neck, to the body of the reservoir, just get yourself some JB WELD, and put it around the seam, to seal it up.

I suspect the p/s box is blocked, not allowing fluid entry. Pump can get quite hot, fluid expands & comes out the top of the pump.
