Hi all,
This may be a dumb question….. I dunno.

I’m deciding whether to go manual brakes on my 65 Barracuda…….
I’m told that to go to a manual MC, I need a brake pushrod (currently have power booster ), but…… is there a specific year / model etc.
The early master cylinders had the piston on the pushrod, but others have the rod in its own. Just not certain what I’m looking for.
Hope that makes sense. I've attached a rod from a Slant MC...... looks 7 - 1/2 inches long, which I found by chance in my shed .

Is this the right rod to use on say a dual MC ? And if so, that piston can be forced off for a new one, right ?

not a dumb Q at all. I think it will work fine but wait for further review. pull the piston off of the rod but it's on there tight. you'll need a short piece of vac line to go on the rod end to lock it into the M/C
