"Premium" Valve Stem Seals Help

The two packs of seals in my Felpro box have one set of small black seals (foto #2) and one pack of larger/thicker black seals (foto #3). Anyone know which are intake and which are exhaust? I find it strange the packaging does not define them one or the other.

And why are they different anyway? Thank you.

Umbrella seals just go brittle and break up ending up in your oil pan and clogging your oil pump pickup.
 

Intake seals need to be better than exhaust seals. Think about it. That being said, positive seals are a great improvement.
 
There’s nothing wrong with umbrellas,,,,,they work great .
Yes,,,,they can get old and brittle,,,,but that’s way off from now .

And to answer your question,,,,the smaller ones go on the exhaust,,,,,since the gases are flowing up,,,,,the seal doesn’t have as much to guard against.
