Those lobes look the same size as the journals. I like the pentastars machined into the engine plate.
 
I wonder what engine that is? Whatever it is, it's a 60 degree "something or other".
 
I don't even understand the bearings, much less the lobes....some sort of bolt-on roller bearing setup??
 
It almost looks like, you could change out, one cyl of cam lobes at a time......?
and the cam bearing journals look like they are a two piece deal?./!!!!????
 
It looks like a JC Whitney 3/4 cam for sure.
Good for towing and street strip.
Lol!
 
Is anyone else noticing how narrow these lobes are. Not much friction there.

If you look in the lifter valley I'm seeing pneumatic lifters, possibly
 
That's a very common design of camshaft in ohv engines
 
Narrow lobes and large wheels on the lifters. Are those the "cartridge" style lifters? They're keyed to the bushing. The bushing and lifter can be replaced together or modually if that's even a word.
 
It’s the picture. If you look real close, you can see the first valve is an exhaust and it’s lower than the next two which are intake valves.

The PS Hemi has a: E II EE II E valve arrangement.
Yeah, I actually went on the link and saw the complete engine. You're correct.
 
I was trying to check out the plates covering the intake ports and found this.

Isn‘t that the Ford head? I don’t remember the Dodge using that valve arrangement.

Rumor had it a Ford or two would be used in PS for 2023. Unless they figured out how to make them make power under 11,000 RPM I’m not sure they can compete.
