problems problems problems!

ok i just rebuilt my 76 360 and when i come to start it i have a few problems.. fyi i got good oil pressure...

1. my rocker arms are pretty loud.. tick! tick! tick! tick!

2. sometimes when i put it in to gear it stalls out.. (changed the torque converter and tuned carb and timing) still does it once in a while...

Might have to adjust the rockers a bit, tighten the nuts. Tighten until pushrod is snug then a slight bit more. You want zero lash plus a little.

The two could be related, but you need to give us a bit more background. What is the engine? How was it rebuilt? What parts were used? When does it stall? What was the tune up/carb setings before you changed them? What did you change? What affect did the changes have on the stalling? Be very specific.
